This seed mix is intended as an upgraded version of our regular Harvester Ant Seed Mix! This mix features native, natural seeds from North America, excluding the non-native seeds from places like Eurasia. 

These seeds are sourced from American native seed growing companies. Choosing this seed mix helps support native habitat/plant restoration, and therefore native ants across the US! 

We feature a variety of seeds in this mix to make sure your colony has the full breadth of nutrients and selection that different seeds might offer. It's intended to vary in size, so that all ants should have seeds that are perfect for them. Some ants might not enjoy some seeds, but we kept it so that the bulk of the mix is the most popular ones!

This mix is great for ants like many Pheidole, Pogonomyrmex, Veromessor, sometimes Tetramorium immigrans, etc.

Mixed into the seeds are tiny little protein flakes to give your colony that extra protein boost!
